  • To complete this assessment, it is best to have your recent bills handy, ideally covering at least one winter and one summer. This section is not mandatory, however providing as much information as possible on your usage and energy costs will ensure that your report is as relevant as possible.

If you need help finding the relevant information on your bill, you can call the Actsmart Sustainable Home Advice line on 1300 141 777 between 9 am and 5 pm on weekdays (excluding public holidays).

Detailed information on how to read your electricity and gas bills can be found on the energy made easy website.

  • Time-of-use means that the price of electricity changes at different times of the day (for example peak, shoulder, off peak). If you have a smart meter, you may be on a peak demand tariff. See https://www.evoenergy.com.au/residents/pricing-and-tariffs/peak-demand-tariffs for more information Note: Please select single rate if you have a dedicated controlled load or off peak circuit for hot water only.
  • NOTE: The webtool requires answers to all of the next four questions to provide some of your recommendations.

  • Thank you for completing the energy assessment of your home. When you click submit, you will be able to download your reports. If using the tool as a renter, the first report you'll be able to download focuses on actions your household can take. At the end of that report is a link to a second report focused on actions the owner could take. If using the tool as a rental property owner or home owner, the first report you'll be able to download focuses on actions you can take as the owner of the property. At the end of that report is a link to a second report which focuses on actions that the people living in the home can take – either your household, if you live there, or your tenants, if you have rented it out.
